About My Work
Looking for therapy that feels different from traditional talk therapy — more honest, active, and deeply human? My style is warm, direct, and collaborative, with room for laughter, thoughtful challenge, and real conversation. I work best with people who want therapy to feel supportive while still helping them move forward.
I believe therapy should give you space to show up exactly as you are and leave closer to who you’ve always been. Together we’ll explore patterns, relationships, coping strategies — identifying what works and getting curious about what no longer serves you.
Before counseling, I spent more than 20 years working in health, wellness, and recovery. That experience shaped my belief that healing works best when we consider the whole person. Every part influences the other.
What You Can Expect in Our Sessions
I’m not a therapist who will simply nod while you’re stuck. I work to create a steady space where we can make sense of pain or disconnection… I use laughter when it creates connection, directness when it provides clarity, and compassion through it all.
Therapy with me is active, collaborative, and tailored to you. I utilize a variety of approaches, including CBT, IFS work, somatic awareness, mindfulness, narrative, and person-centered therapy to provide counseling that parallels your needs, wants, and pace.
With couples, I help partners slow down conflict, communicate more clearly, and understand the cycle beneath emotional disconnection.
With children and teens, I adapt therapy to their age, personality, and natural way of communicating while building trust, privacy, and room for their own voice. In each session, we will aim for movement: clearer insight, emotional relief, awareness, a new perspective on old patterns, stronger emotional regulation, or a grounded next step.
I’m for You If…
You want candor, sharper insight, and practical ways to feel more grounded. You value warmth, thoughtful challenge, and humor that never minimizes what hurts.

A Little About Me
My path to counseling began long before graduate school. Having faced and overcome many of life’s harder chapters, I understand the difference between being judged and being genuinely understood. During nearly two decades in fitness, wellness, and recovery, clients naturally opened up about the struggles beneath their physical goals. Their openness inspired me to pursue the clinical training needed to care for that trust with greater skill and responsibility.
Outside the therapy room, I love stand-up comedy, movement of almost any kind, naps, and snacks.
