Group Therapy

Hear me out - group therapy is INCREDIBLE!

Group therapy allows us the space to practice our interpersonal dynamics. In non-clinical terms, imagine an incredibly supportive group of family and friends who challenge, support, and love you in a way you’ve never experienced previously. In group, you may laugh and cry and fight and disagree with a room full of used-to-be strangers. But on the other side, you will undoubtedly become more resilient and compassionate because of these relationships.

Group therapy is an effective way to address issues like anxiety, depression, body image, and relationship struggles - issues most people struggle to manage alone and possibly in individual therapy. The truth is, we often get more out of collaboration than solo.

Bonus! Group therapy also costs less per session than individual therapy!

Heart of the Matter: Healing Relationship Patterns

Do you notice yourself stuck in the same relationship dynamics — overgiving, withdrawing, people-pleasing, or losing your sense of self?
Explore what’s underneath those patterns in a supportive, therapeutic space.

In this 4-session virtual group, we’ll explore themes of attachment, boundaries, self-worth, and nervous system regulation — all with the intention of cultivating more conscious and compassionate connection.

This group combines psychoeducation, guided reflection, and relational processing using tools from attachment theory, parts work, and non-violent communication to support real and sustainable change in how you relate to others and yourself.

Heart of the Matter will be co-led by Sarah Byrd and Katie Elliott, both mindfulness-based counseling interns at Carlisle Collective. This group will meet virtually and is open to participants anywhere in Texas. Enrollment is open through July 9, 2025.
