About My Work
My clinical work centers on understanding how early attachment wounds, trauma, and nervous system patterns shape the way we relate- to ourselves and to the people we love.
I use EMDR, attachment-based therapy, and somatic awareness to help clients move beyond insight alone and into real, lived change. Rather than “fixing” symptoms, we slow things down and get curious about what your system learned to do to survive- and what it needs now to feel safer, steadier, and more connected.
This work often involves:
Healing relational trauma and attachment wounds
Reducing anxiety and emotional reactivity
Rebuilding trust, closeness, and intimacy in relationships
Integrating mind and body so healing actually sticks
Yes, it’s trauma-informed. And yes, it’s also very human. Warm, collaborative, and occasionally irreverent.
How I work
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real relationship- not a clinical transaction.
Clients often describe me as warm, direct, deeply attuned, and gently challenging. I’ll sit with you in the hard places, name patterns when they show up, and help you stay connected to yourself when things feel overwhelming.
I don’t believe in pushing harder or doing more. Most of the time, healing happens through less effort, more awareness, and greater safety in the nervous system.
This is especially true in:
EMDR intensives, where focused, immersive work allows for meaningful shifts in a shorter period of time
Couples therapy, where slowing down and understanding each partner’s protective strategies creates space for real repair
Prenatal and postpartum work, where identity, attachment, and nervous system regulation are already in motion

Who this work is for
This work may be a good fit if you’re someone who:
Is ready to slow things down and look beneath the patterns- especially in relationships, attachment, and the nervous system
Has done some insight-oriented work before and senses there’s something deeper that needs tending
Is open to therapy that is relational, embodied, trauma-informed, and sometimes gently challenging
Wants meaningful change, not just coping tools or surface-level strategies
Who this work may not be for
This may not be the right fit if you’re looking for:
Short-term, skills-only therapy or a primarily directive approach
Immediate crisis support or a high level of structure and checklists
Therapy that stays purely cognitive or problem-solving without attending to the body and nervous system
If you’re unsure where you land, that’s okay! Part of our work, together or elsewhere, is helping you find the kind of support that actually fits. I’m always happy to help you think that through or connect you with someone at Carlisle Collective who may be a better match.
EMDR Intensives
I offer EMDR intensives as a focused, immersive way of working with trauma, attachment wounds, and long-standing relational patterns.
This work is intentionally paced and grounded in nervous system regulation, relational safety, and careful integration. Rather than rushing the process, intensives allow for depth, continuity, and meaningful movement within a thoughtfully held container.
I offer a limited number of EMDR intensives at a time and work collaboratively to determine whether this format is the right fit. When it is, it can be a powerful way to move beyond insight and into real, embodied change.
If an intensive isn’t appropriate, or if my availability is limited, I’m always happy to help you explore other supportive options within Carlisle Collective.
Working with Carlisle Collective
If my availability or scope isn’t the right fit, you’re not being sent elsewhere; you’re being invited into the larger ecosystem of care I’ve lovingly and intentionally built.
Carlisle Collective is a group practice made up of therapists I know, trust, and train personally. Each clinician brings their own strengths and specialties, while sharing a common foundation in trauma-informed, relational, and nervous-system–aware care, built with a focus on creative and outside-the-box approaches.
Our client care coordinator can help thoughtfully match you with a therapist whose style, experience, and availability align with what you’re looking for, whether that’s ongoing therapy, relationship work, or a more accessible option.
If you’re hoping to work with me directly, you’re welcome to join my waitlist, and I’ll reach out if and when a space opens that allows me to offer the depth of care I value. And if you’d prefer not to wait, I feel genuinely confident in the care you’d receive with someone from our team.
Either way, you don’t have to navigate this alone. And you don’t have to settle for care that doesn’t quite fit.

Outside of my clinical work, much of my life is shaped by care, patience, and long-term commitment- including life with my (third) rescue boxer, Ella May. Loving a dog with a complex history has deepened my respect for slow trust, nervous system safety, and the kind of repair that unfolds over time. These values: attunement, consistency, and gentleness- are not just things I practice in the therapy room; they’re woven into how I live.
If this way of working resonates, you’re welcome to explore next steps; whether that’s joining my waitlist or finding support within the Carlisle Collective.
