About My Work
Maybe you’ve already done a lot of work on your own— reading, reflecting, analyzing your patterns— but something still isn’t shifting in the way you’d hoped. Or maybe this is your first time in therapy, and you want someone warm, grounded, and genuinely invested to help you get introspective. Wherever you’re starting, I’ll meet you there!
My work focuses on helping clients understand the deeper beliefs and experiences that shape how they think, feel, and relate. I blend EMDR, somatic awareness, and relational insight to help you move beyond old patterns that leave you feeling overwhelmed or disconnected in body and mind.
I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and human. You’ll experience a balance of nurturing support and gentle intervention in a space where you can feel safe to be your authentic self. I look forward to guiding you as we create meaningful, lasting change.

About Me
I grew up in a small college town in Mississippi, an environment that shaped my curiosity and eventually pushed me to build a life that felt authentically mine. After initially pursuing law, I found myself in a “quarter-life recalibration” that led me toward the mental health field (a domain that felt purposeful in a way nothing else had).
I spent four years in Austin, where I worked with AmeriCorps, earned my graduate degree from St. Edward’s University, and trained at Austin State Hospital, working closely with individuals navigating severe mental illness. Those experiences strengthened both my clinical judgment and my belief in the power of human connection.
I now live in Charlottesville, Virginia, with my husband, our baby, and our labradoodle, Summer; I offer virtual sessions to clients across Texas. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me exploring new coffee shops, reading novels, taking barre classes, or getting outside!
Premarital Counseling
As a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, I love supporting couples in building connected, communicative, values-aligned partnerships. My sessions are structured and focus on strengthening what’s working and tending to spots that need attention.
